President Donald Trump tested negative for the coronavirus, White House physician Sean Conley said in a statement.
The president consented to a test Friday night, Conley said. He remains symptom free one week after dining with a Brazilian government delegation, some of whose members have tested positive for the illness, at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
The statement did not say if Trump will be re-tested.
Conley said he had been in touch with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the White House Coronavirus Task Force and that his office is "encouraging the implementation of all their best practices."
